BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q About what sections of the Colorado river down there, say north and south, how many miles from Dandy Crossing have you covered? A On the river? Q Yes. A About forty- five miles, the total length of it. Q What years were you there, Mr. Weber? A I came on the Colorado river the 4th day of November, 1891. Q From what point did you come and how did you get into the Colorado river? A I came by way of Bluff from Ouray, Colorado, with a pack outfit, down the white canyon, and landed on the opposite side of Dandy Crossing. Q How large an outfit did you have? A There was three of us in the party, and we had four animals. Q How long did you stay in and about Dandy Crossing? |
