Show 4679 Kirkpatrick- 2693 surveys; is that it, in the regions which you have described? A Yes; the meander survey is an integral part of the public land survey of a locality. THE SPECIAL MATER: That is all. CROSS EXAMINATION BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Mr. Kirkpatrick, I wish you would just indicate which parts of the Colorado river below Castle creek have been meandered. A You mean officially meandered, or those we completed in the field? THE SPECIAL MASTER: Both. A I couldn't do that without the office records. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q You have meandered the Colorado river as far as the public survey has extended, have you not? A Yes. Q You have meandered the Green river as far as the public survey has extended, have you not? A Yes, that is, where the public surveys touched the river. Q And is that also true of the San Juan river? A As far as my knowledge goes, it is. |
