A Well, we left the automobile about thirty- five or thirty- eight miles west of Bluff; then we went by horseback and peck animal to the camp. Q Did you see any people living in that country west of Bluff, any evidences of habitation? A There is an Indian trader living at Goodrich, and just come temporary residents around those oil workings there, those oil camps. Place called Mexican Hat there were some men living, and at an oil well out south of the San Juan. Q On that trip did you have -- THE SPECIAL MASTER: Excuse me, Mr. Blackmar. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Did you say an oil well south of the San Juan? A They were drilling; really wasn't an oil well; they were drilling for oil. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Don't think we have had any mention of oil wells south. Where are they, Mr. Blackmar? MR. BLACKMAR: I think that was down near a place called Organ Rock, hope are there on the map. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Do you recall whether or not that in the place?
