A Yes sir. Q In that particular part of the country around Hall's creek which you surveyed, were there any other people living in there outside of Baker? A No one else living in there. Q Approximately how much land did your survey cover over there in the neighborhood of the Henry mountains? A There were three townships. Q Is there any of the land under cultivation? A There were several - - I think there were three small farms in the Henry mountains. Q About what size? A They were all, I would imagine, under forty acres. Q Outside of those three farms were there any residents in that country? A One man named Wolverton had a mill on one of the Henrys. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Saw mill? A A metal mill. |
