Show 4779 Yundt- RD 2793 Q And all of that work was done north of Moab bridge? A That work was north of the bridge, yes sir. Q How far up did you work? A I wasn't working on the river itself; I had the subdivisions north of the river, and we worked from there about ten or twelve miles north. Q Were you on the river at all that year? A Not working on the river, no sir; we were camped there. Q Were you on the river in a boat that year? A Yes sir, crossed the river at Goose Island in a boat. Q What kind of boat? A It was sixteen- foot row boat. Q While you were in that section did you observe any other boat going up from Moab? A I have never seen any, no sir. Q Going up stream above there? A No sir. Q During the year 1926 and 1927 when you were at work below Moab, how far would you get away from your camp on a day's work? A greatest distance was ten miles. Q So when you completed the day's work, the trip up stream was just a question of getting back? A Yes sir, we endeavored to work above camp. |
