Show 4701 Kirkpatrick- C 2715 A The only thing I have is the statement of Baldwin that it was a damaged propeller. Q I am just asking you what you know. You don't know anything about it? A No. Q You had a delay of a few minutes until you repaired the propeller, and then went on? A Delay of more than a few minutes; might have been a half an hour. Q You spoke about your getting stuck at times with your small boat as you were doing your work meandering below Moab. How large was this boat of yours? A Sixteen feet. Q Had an out- board motor on it? A Yes. Q In that work of meandering, where would the course of your boat be, as nearly as you could direct it, towards the bank or out in the middle of the stream or out in the channel? A Sometimes be in the middle, sometimes along the shores, sometimes we would cross back and forth. Q In meandering along one side of the river, when you were doing your meandering work at that site, you would beach your boat, wouldn't you? A Sometimes we would; sometimes went right down the river with our meander line. |
