Show 4680 KIRKpatrick- C 2694 Q Well, Don't you know? A I don't know, no. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Just a minute. Weren't you in charge of the San Juan just as much as of the Colorado? A Yes, but I don't know the conditions of all the surveys along the San Juan; some of the surveys may have stopped at the river and not been meandered. The only way I could tell would be to get all the plats. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q You know portions of the San Juan have been meandered, do you not? A I do. Q And so far as you know that meandering has taken place wherever the public survey has extended to the river? A Yes. Q It would be in line with your instructions that that be done, and so far as you know, and according to your best knowledge, that has been done? A Yes. MR. BLACKMAR: What river are you talking about? MR. FARNSWORTH: The San Juan. MR. BLACKMAR: The state of Utah. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q You understood my questions were directed to the state of Utah? |
