Show Inside Out, 238 Chapter 44: Andli From: Joseph <desertsageJoseph@yahoo.com> To: Andli <Charcoalchic@yahoo.com> Dear Andli, I love that picture you're working on-the one with your mom and me. We don't really sit around on clouds like that but ifs still a cool picture. She still looks the same. (Yes, we do still look like ourselves here. Except we all look about the same age-somewhere between 18 and 40,1 guess. The people who die old don't look like old people. And the people who die as little babies actually look-and acMike adults.) She's an amazing person. I am actually really glad you sent me to find her, because she has helped me a lot There are groups here, sort of like self-help groups I guess. She has led a group for a long time thaf s made up of people who are victims and people who have hurt other people. They get together and they talk and they learn how to forgive others and themselves. I wish I had found this group sooner, because now she's moving on. But there is another leader of the group who will be good and probably help me. Actually, I don't need as much help as I used to. This whole thing-helping Terra, meeting you- has helped me a lot in my soul work. Except it hasn't helped me be more ready to move on. I don't want to move on, Andli. I want to keep writing to you. I'm not sure if thaf s bad or good. Maybe bad. I think I'm supposed to want to move on, like your mom does. I think ifs supposed to be a sign of maturity or something. But no one is pushing me. I can stay as long as I want I can write to you as long as I want I think. I hope you're not sad that she's chosen to move on. Ifs a good thing for her and she's really happy, but she worries that you'll think she's abandoning you. You don't do you? Do you understand? One thing I know for sure is that she loves you so much that I cant even tell you in a way that you could understand in your earth life. Thafs one of the best things about being here-you can feel love differently here. Ifs like you can see it better. I canl describe it but ifs like a color that was always all around you in the world but you were colorblind before. Ifs beautiful, Andli. So she loves you. But here's another thing: she loves the guy that hit her too. I think she worries that you are full of resentment about that She was so relieved to meet me and hear that I was your friend (I am your friend, aren't I?) because she thought that might mean that you could possibly forgive that guy- the one that hit her-someday.
