Show Inside Out, 190 Mom came in and sat on the bed. Terra could see that she had been crying. Her stomach started to churn and she felt shaky. She wished everything could be written down, muffled a little. Naked feelings made her dizzy. After a moment, Mom said, "Thank you for the letter. I have learned a lot." She paused, then said, "I didn't know that was how you felt about me. I didn't know that's what you saw happening. I'm sorry for hiding things. I'm sorry for . . . for hurting you. I'm sorry for everything you've had to go through. I hope you'll be able to forgive both of us someday." Terra didn't know what to say. And while she was still thinking, Mom stood up and walked out.
