Show Inside Out, 89 My heart tumbled over. Me: Moved on? Joseph didn't answer. The cursor just blinked. i Me: Joseph? What does moved on mean? J: I knew you would ask that Ifs just kind of complicated to explain. Me: I've got an hour before I have to go. Me: And I don't think you have anywhere to be, right? Me: Try it J: Look, ifs hard on IM. I'll write it in an e-mail, OK? But I wanted to keep talking to him. I wanted to keep talking and talking until I had to leave the library. It was like-it was like hanging out with a friend. I felt like a needy girlfriend. Me: Fine. E-mail me. Only send it before I leave so I can read it tonight J: OK. Bye. I closed the window. But it popped up again right after. J: That color looks good on you. I stared at the blinking cursor, feeling myself blush. Then I closed the window and tried to do math At home, after eating homemade chicken soup (which, I have to admit, was darn good), I found that he had written me an e-mail while I had been doing math.
