"We sure could use you on the senior basketball team," he said with a wink. "Not all of us can move down the court the way you can." "Well, you know, work keeps me busy these days," said Dad. The men stepped out onto the porch. Just before Dad shut the door, Terra heard, "'Bye, Terra!" from Brother Angus. Dad turned to Terra, shrugged, then headed back to his room. Notebook for Or. Joe started hanging out with a new group of friends during the time that Mom and Oad weren 't getting along. He quit going to church, of course. Grew his hair out, started hiding in his room a lot, or not coming home. One time he didn't come home until just before breakfast. |
