Show February 16, 2000 University of Utah Museum of Fine Arts (illv1FA) c/o Rebecca Pickett, Assistant Curator of Education 3 70 South 1530 East Salt Lake City, UT 84112-0360 RE: Our Fourth Grade Class Visits, school year 99~00. Dear Ms. Pickett, et al; On behalf of our entire class, I wish to truly thank you for the opportunity to observe and participate in some of the most interesting studies our students have ever experienced. This unique and powerful educational venue (the illv1FA) has given us constructive application in critical information processing, social reference, aesthetics, multicultural appreciation, and various artistic skills. You and your associates (I am sorry I did not record their names) represented your organization extremely well. You were punctual, very well organized, respectful, and direct. Most importantly, you were able to command our rather large class and capture theit intrigue when you presented to our school. As a teacher, I know that this does not come easily and I have an appreciation for the way you and your illv1FA colleagues handled yourselves. For your commitment to education, your consistency and dedication to teaching, your efficiency in handling so many students, and your pleasant personality in the tours and activities, I wish to sincerely thank you for being a part of our school year. Some rewards in teaching come many years after the lessons are taught, and I assure you that our society - and civilization - will gain the from the information you have shared through the intriguing collection of art - and wonderful docents - at the UMFA cc: Maria Peterson, SLCSD Appreciation constitutes the docents' salary.
