Don't Miss Out on this Opportunity Training for the tours will be given on your Do you want to know what pieces we have in our contemporary art collection? Is Modern Art a puzzle you would like to solve? If you are interested in learning more about 20th century art, especially those examples from our collection, you are invited to the new docent training sessions. Monday March 20 at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 21 at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 22 at 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 23 at 12:00 p.m. Friday's Team -- To Be Announced Come to the series of lectures Virginia is presenting to the Docents in Training on March 28, 30 and April 6. All classes are held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please let Virginia know if you will be coming to one or all of them. She needs to plan on space when you go down into the collection! tour days so please plan on staying 1 1 /2 hours after your tour for the training: Training for the Museum in the Classroom Presentations: If you are interested in giving a classroom presentation for Images and Words, please come to the training on March 23 at 1:00. Even if you don't want to go into the classroom, come to the training to see what is going on. There is no pressure to sign up if you come. ( Hope to see you all there. Virginia GALLERY TALKS FOR MARCH March 12 No Gallery Talk due to the opening of the Insight: Women's Photographs from the George Eastman House Collection DOCENT MEETING At our Monthly Meeting on March 9th Marty Seiner, professor of Art History at Westminster College, will present "Reflections on the Italian Collection: A Tapestry of 14th to 18th century Artistic and Cultural Life" a lecture that will focus on our collection of Italian art.
