Show .· ·--~-- The Utah Museum of Fine Arts University of Utah ANNUAL SPRING LUNCHEON The Annual Spring Luncheon will take place on June 10 at the Cottonwood Country Club courtesy of Marge Wilson who is a member. Choice of entree Halibut with a parmesan herb crust and tomato sauce Grilled Chicken with Three Cheeses Manicotti Vegetarian Lasagna Choice of Dessert Fresh Fruit Sorbet with Cookie Chocolate Amaretto Mousse Please R.S. V.P. by calling the education department at 581-3580 no later than June 7 with your acceptance and choices of entree. You can also use the sign-up sheet that will be posted on the Bulletin Board. June 1999 Opening Reception for Docent Exhibition Sunday, June 6, 1999 ~ 2:00 p.m. If you want to see just how talented a group of docents we have be sure to come to the reception for the Docent Exhibition. Lots of paintings -watercolors, oil and acrylics -- photographs, sculpture, ceramics, fabric arts, drawings, etc. You name it, you'll see it. In addition to the visual treats we will have our very own musical group playing an original composition by Richard Nelson (Ettalue's husband) based on the poem, "Lo, the Poor Indian" that was also the inspiration for our painting of the same name (in the American Gallery). So come celebrate the creativity of our docents!!! Exhibition Dates: June 6 to 27, 1999. HELP! HELP! HELP! We will be pai.1icipating in the Planet Discovery area at the Utah Arts Festival once again. This year we are collaborating with the BYU Museum of Art which should be an exciting and educational experience for all of us. BUT we still need you! If you can volunteer for a shift on JUNE 24, 25, 26, and/or 27 please sign up on the sheet posted on the Bulletin Board. IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FORM FROM THE UTAH ARTS FESTIVAL PLEASE DO NOT SEND IT IN. IN ORDER TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE MUSEUM YOU NEED TO SIGN UP WITH US. Remember -- you will be saving the lives and, more imp01tantly, the sanity of the education staff. |
