Show 659 area to be held this week in Denver to discuss athletics in rela- tion to the un1versities. PRESIDENT Motion was duly seconded and carried. AUTHORIZED A meeting of the American Council on Education is be- ing held in Washington, D. C. March 19 and 20 to discuss Accelerated Training Programs during the present emergency. The President felt that this meeting is of considerable impor- tance as the policy of this University should be coordinated to the national level. Regent Gibson moved that the President be authorized to attend this meeting which was seconded by Regent Romney and carried. The President offered congratulations to the alumni officials responsible for the very successful Founders' Day programs which were conducted in thirty-one cities throughout the United States.
