Roland Lewis, Professor Emeritus . of English, $3, 000. (Money to be paid from Development Fund) On motion of Regent Browning, seconded by Regent Cox, William H. Leary, former Dean of the Law School, was appointed Assistant Librarian and Lecturer in the Law School for one year at a salary of $3600. CONTINUATION OF LEAVE OF ABSENCE OF DR. C. A. SWINYARD APPROVED REQUESTS FOR USE OF UNIVERSITY FACILITIES ‘ APPROVED Upon motion of Regent Cox, seconded by Regent O'Connor, the request for continuation of the leave of absence of Dr. C A. Swinyard, without salary, until July 1, 1951, was approved. Regent Cox moved that the following requests for the use of University facilities be approved. Regent Browning seconded the motion which carried. Request from thefI-Iigh School Activities Association for use of University facilities as follows: August 14, Monday, State Football Clinic (GM-151) November 18, Saturday, State: Football Finals November 25, Saturday, State Basketball Clinic March 8-10, State "A" Basketball Tournament March 14-17, State "B" Basketball Tournament March 30-31, Friday and Saturday, State Forensic Meet - May 12, Saturday, State Track, Field and Tennis Meets Request from the Y. M. M. I. A. for theuse of the fieldhouse fo: the All-Church basketball finals on March 21, 22, 23, and 24. Request from B. Y.
