We have corresPonded with several of the university SChOOlS 0f nursing Offering this. type of field experience and find that all pay such a fee to field agencies and that in the great ma- jority 0f cases it 1S $30 per student or more. Among the univer- sities paying to field agencies this amount or more are the Univer‘ sities 0f Colorado, Washington Minnesota, Oregon and California. Public health nursing field experience of not less than two months is a requirement for university schools of nursing aspiring to the top classification in national accreditation. We are fortunate in having the facilities for it available to us. If and when the special fee for public health nursing fieldwork is approved we shall proceed to the formulation of an agreement between the University and the field agencies and submit the agreement to you. In the past I have gone to Dean Leary for guidance in the wording of agreements. Should I now go to Dean Kimball? I shall appreciate your help in this as in so many other matters.
