The President read the following letter from Dean Hazelle Baird Macquin of the College of Nursing: January 23, 1951. Dr. A. Ray Olpin, President, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear President Olpin: I have been told that any special fee to be collected from students must be approved by you and by the Board of Regents. The faculty members of the College of Nursing join with me in asking your approval of a special fee of thirty dollars to be paid by each student registering after September 1, 1951 for a quarter of public health nursing fieldwork. student would pay this fee more than once.
