President Olpin reported calling on Mrs. Richard Hudnut when he was in New York and brought back word that she is anxious to come to Salt Lake City about the end of November, and that she wOuld like to have her art collection, CONFERENCES which is now in storage in New York, here when she arrives. WITH MRS . RICHARD HUDNUT Also, she would like to have‘the north room of the art gallery made into a French room which, President Olpin felt, would AND FLOYD be desirable because of the large collection of French art. HATCH Also, during his visit in New York, President Olpin talked to Mr. Boyd Hatch, former Utahn now residing there, in relation to'his offer of English and Italian furniture and art, including valuable imperted wall panelling of fine wood. This offer was called to the Board's attention some months ago. Mr. Hatch was enthused over the possibility of the Uni- versity having a suitable place to display the collection.
