Ballir, Executive Committee, and Haber Bennion, ‘ Finance‘Committee. -- _ CCSGRIFF; Regent Cesgriff acted as chairman of the meeting. it was reported that the State Building Board was VDISGUSIONrequestiné a deposit of the architect's fees before QN DE? I a contract could he executed and work proceed on _the plans and specifications of the new Union Building. The amount of the deposit at this tbime ‘would be approximately $hh 000 (55% of n§% of $1,700,000.) followsé The balance would be deposited as. 10% when the plans and specifications Ivare'comp1eted and bids taken and 35% when the con truction contract is awarded. It was alsoreported tnet the USAC nod raw 5 quested the Attorney~Genere1's office to bring before the Supreme Court a writ (Dedlaratory 'Judgment) to clarify the existing laws covering the institution's rights to issue and sell bonds.
