Show members of the Medical Executive Committee and the students meet for the purpose of working out a satisfactory solution to - this problem, and a report be submitted to the Board. Regent Christensen spoke in relation to furthering medical education, its present inadequate program to meet the health needs of the people in general, and wondered if there is discrimination in the acceptance of students to the College of Medicine, which has so often been discussed. The Chairman assured him that having been called to the Board's attention consideration will be given to the expansion of the facilities of the College of Medicine. It was suggested that this study be extended in scope to include dentistry. RECOGNITION Letters of appreciation and commendation from the following were officially recognized by the Board: OF LETTERS OF APPRECIATION AND COMMEN - Mr. P. K.. Mr. Affonso Lefever, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the good impression the basketball team and visitors made upon him during their visit last year. Mr. Frank M. Browning, Board of Regents, for the address given by Prof. Obert C. Tanner to the Rotary Club in Ogden Prof. G. Homer Durham for the excellent piece of work done by Prof. Ellsworth E.
