Show 3284 Dobbin- D 1309 Q Mr. Dobbin, in your professional capacity have you made trips into that country in and about the mouth of the Green river where it flows into the Colorado? A I made a trip from Moab in a boat to the mouth of Green river, thence up Green river one mile or a little more, and returned to Moab. Q How many different trips have you made into that country? A My first trip into that country was from Denver over to Green river by automobile, thence south on the west side of Green river to where the Texas Corporation drilled the well at the head of Elaterite Basin, thence we descended into Elaterite Basin, proceeded east to within two miles or so of the junction of the Green and Colorado rivers. That was my first trip. My second trip was by boat from Moab down to the junction of the rivers, a mile up the Green river to Moab, as previously described. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What year? A 1926. Then, in the same year, but later, I went by auto-mobile from Moab down to Bluff, and later I came from Cortez over tox Bluff by car. In 1927 I went from Moab down nearly to Monticello, thence turned northwest and went down Indian creek with an |
