Q Was the purpose of that trip down to examine the river as to whether or not a wharf could be built, or what was it? A No sir. Q What was the purpose of it? A It was simply as a means of getting to transportation; we had this same boat, ford motor, of the Moab Garage, meet us at that point: we had made an investigation riding horseback into the Indian creek country, and had left word, and had a man waiting for us at Indian creek to carry us out.
