CAROL EDWARD DOBBIN, a witness of lawful age, called by and on behalf of the comp-lainant, having been first duly sworn according to law by the Special Master, was examined and testified as follows: DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name, please, to the court? A Carrol Edward Dobbin. Q Mr. Dobbin, what is your profession? A Geologist. Q By whom are you employed? A United States Geological Survey. Q What has been the scope of your education and experience? A I graduated from Colby college in 1916, where I took three years of geology, and then I took four more years of gradu-ate work in geology at Johns Hopkins University, and got the degree of Ph. D. in 1924. Since 1917 I have been continuously employed in geological work for oil companies and for the government in this and other countries. |
