Show 3364 Nims- D 1389 THE SPECIAL MASTER: I think Mr. Farnsworth, under the circumstances, better see them. It is a peculiar situation, because the witness is not able to see them on account of his eye- eight. MR. FARNSWORTH: I suggest you have the witness bring with him those shorthand notes in the morning. I want to look them over. Or has he got them in his pocket? THE WITNESS: I have them in my pocket now. MR. FARNSWORTH: May I see those, too? ( Complainant's Exhibit No. 175 was thereupon marked by the reporter.) THE SPECIAL MASTER: I understand, Mr. Collins, from your statement, that the transcription which was made by the Attorney General's stenographer is the entire body of these notes, of these stenographic notes, without any exceptions? MR. COLLINS: As much as he could read them, yes sir. Where he couldn't read, he had out a line there, and we asked Mr. Nims to fill it in if he could. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Mr. Nims' eyesight is not such as enable him to do so? MR. COLLINS: He can read this, all right, but he can't read notes. MR.
