Show 3214 Dent- D 1240 at about mile 212 1/ 3. We walked down and looked at the first two cataracts. I am now referring to sheet 31 of Exhibit 10, which is the survey of 1914 of the lower Green river We retraced our course from up Cataract canyon to the junctions of the Colorado and the Green rivers, and then made a short trip up the Green river. I have a note of four feet depth at the mouth, this mile O on this exhibit. 3 1/ 2 feet a short distance above, a heavy grounding at about mile 1/ 2. 6 feet, a short distance above, 8 feet plus at mile 1. 5 feet at mile 1 1/ 3. 3 1/ 2 feet, mile 1 1/ 2; groundings at mile 1 3/ 4. 6 feet, mile 2 1/ 3. 8 feet plus at mile 2 1/ 2. 3 feet, mile 2 3/ 4. 7 feet, mile 3. 4 feet, mile 3 1/ 4. Grounding, mile 3 1/ 3. 4 feet, mile 3 3/ 4. 4 feet at mile 4 1/ 2. Grounding just above, then 3 feet. 8 feet at mile 5. |
