A They were cedar skiffs, clinker- built, fifteen feet long, three feet beam, and twenty- four inches in depth, with a keel bottom. Q At what point on the Green river did this expedition start? A Where the Denver & Rio Grande railway crosses the Green river. Q That is at Greenriver, Utah? A It was called then Greenriver Junction. Q How many men did you have in your party? A Sixteen. Q Are any of those men living today, as far as you know? A Not to my knowledge. Q What day of the year did this expedition start? A Left Denver May 22,1889. Q And what day did they leave Greenriver?
