Show 46 Gone Three Days It is a long and invisible tube, an anomaly in space, and I am running in it past the stars. I am running! I have not been able to run for so long and now I am running so freely and so fast that the stars move beyond me quickly and I know my incorrigible muscles are not responsible for this graceful moving. I am grinning at this freedom. There is a high rock wall next to me, a wall of verdantly cascading emerald vines and blooming flowers, a wall of kaleidoscoping colors. A high rock wall next to me and next to the person of love. The person of love has surrounded me with his arms and his love is melting, golden warm, into my spirit. An older man is tending the gardens just beyond, within hearing distance, but no words are spoken to my hearing. He instead leans his soul towards me and his name sits just beyond my natural memory. I do not belong here. Not yet. "Suzanne!" It is Hy. I am in a valley somewhere and his voice is echoing against the mountains. There are arms in the river. |
