Show 75 and sequential understanding of the procedure I may have gained and I have been trying to explain to them here what she did then but they do not want to hear about it. Not from me, anyway. I have told them that I will believe it is my disease progressing when I can see on the fluoroscopy machine that there are no leaks in the catheter when the dye is shot through it. Leaks that Dr. Chappie showed me when she did the procedure. It is the best I can explain it. This is an extremely unpleasant impasse. I am thumbing through the orange notebook by my foot, searching. It appears to be a sales manual, enumerating product benefit. There are shiny pictures. It does not seem to contain technical expertise. My intent perusal of this manual evidently further enrages Victor who grabs it out of my hands, turns on his heels and stomps back towards the door. "If it's not there," -1 am trying to say this nicely but my voice leaves my lips more tersely than I would like - "maybe you could call the company and they can tell you what I'm trying to say." He slams the door shut in his exit. Lisa quietly enters within the same minute of his exit. "Are you OK?" she is asking. She had heard the door slam. |
