Phalana-Pyralis fascialis, Cramer, Pap. Exot. iv. pl. 398. O (1782). v Larat. A fragment of this wide-ranging species was obtained. BOTIDID^E. 22. BOTYS, sp. A broken example of a species allied to B. gastralis, which resembles in size and coloration ; the pattern, however, agrees better with B. rosinalis. Ritabel, Larat. The specimen is not sufficiently perfect to name ; it is chiefly interesting for its resemblance to New-World types. The only other Lepidopteron is unrecognizable, as previously mentioned ; the veining of the wings reminds one of some Micro- Lepidopterou. EXPLANATION OP PLATE XXXVIII. Fig. 1.
