GRAPHIPHORA C-NIGRUM. Phalana-Noctua c-nigrum, Linnaeus, Fauna Suecica, p. 1193. Solun, in July. " Ground-colour much darker than any Nilgherry examples of Graphiphora c-nigrum. I have also one from Suttara taken in November, primaries quite as dark, secondaries almost as dark as primaries."-C. S. The species varies a good deal in depth of colour. 74. ORTHOSIA EXTERNA.
