Show 3366 Nims- D 1391 I made afterwards, in regard to something else, I think, unless I tore then out; I don't know about that; but once in a while I wanted to take some notes of something that I wanted to publish, or write a story of, and if one of these books happened to be the first thing I got hold of, I would jog it down in them. Q That had nothing to do with this? A That had nothing. All the notes I made on the river are in these two books. MR. COLLINS: Let me explain to the court too, this covers only the first trip made, May 22, 1889. MR. FARNSWORTH: Do the note books cover both trips? MR. COLLINS: If they cover both trips we haven't been able to transcribe them. The work as I understand it, in here ( indicating), although I haven't read it for months,-- these articles cover both trips. MR. FARNSWORTH: All right. Go ahead BY MR.
