AGGIE RALLY This happens in Kingsbury Hall the night before the Utah-Utah Aggie game. All the boys get swacked and crash the gates. Chet Dowse gets swacked and is master of ceremonies. Gowans and Olson appear as stooges. All organizations, which get swacked, have a fella or a gal who once recited "The Shooting Dan McGrew," and this particular fella or gal is appointed chairman of the committee on this particular organization's skit committee. Skits are things that vie. They vie for prizes. The prizes are probably swacked, too. But if you aren't a Lambda of a Pi Kap there is no sense in your vying vie-ing competing for a prize, because the Lambdas and the Pi Kaps always have the prize-winning skits. They know they have prize-winning skits before they start, because they use the same skits that won the prizes for the past six years. Of course, if you are a Friar (Friar, we said, not Delta Phi), Rick Lamoreaux will make you vie and make you like it. Rick has a masterful personality, and a printing shop, too. He has a sister named Diane who tried to run things with the gals the way Rick tries to run them with the fellas. Diane doesn't go over as well as Rick, though, which just goes to show that gals have got better judgment than fellas. As we say, there is no sense in your vying vieing competing for a prize, but then there is all the sense in world in your getting swacked. It's easier to roll in the aisles, then. SIGMA ALPHA MU The Sammies are home at last. "Home, Mortgaged Home." Their pappies buy the elegant Covenant House as a Community hang-out, but when their boys start carving initials in the bath-tub. Majority of the Sams are quiet and are earnest in becoming members of the bar (???). Still persist that what this country needs is a good twelve-course dinner for five cents.
