Questions involving school rights and dealing with the Constitution of the University were settled. This board was composed of the executive council, Earl Coppock, Virginia White, Jaren Jones, Hazel Blood, and Reed Ellison; the presidents of the four classes, Ford Barlow, Richard Froiseth, Art Kelly, and Bill Marshall; the editor of the Chronicle, Earl Glade; and two elected representatives, Doug White and Frank Taylor. ASSOCIATED WOMEN STUDENTS Leap year brought with it many added responsibilities for the Associated Women Students of the University of Utah, all of which were creditably discharged. Under the direction of Laura Snow, president, the Girls' Dance and the girls' issue of the Chronicle were made two of the high lights of the year. A spring reception was enjoyed by the graduating seniors, and several changes were made in the constitution. Officers were: Eleanor Dawson, vice-president, Mirra Jacobs, secretary and treasurer, Kathryn Hyde, chorister, and Virginia Snyder, leader. Snow Pingree Dawson Page Thirty-eight |
