Show "Pierrot Before the Seven Doors" "Pierrot Before the Seven Doors" "Pierrot Before the Seven Doors," an allegorical drama dealing with the struggle of youth for happiness, was appealing unusual. His trials and misapprehensions were well dramatized. The play, directed by Malcolm Meacham, was delightfully different from the usual one act dramas. The cast was composed of Marva Banks, Dorothy Leon, Kay Marriott, Doris Snyder, and Annie Ross. The play proved to be excellent training for the actors and was well received by the audience. "Bungalow Bride" Charming in its colorful setting and sparkling lines was the "Bungalow Bride." The plot is built around a movie actress attempting to prove her worth to her husband's mother, who strenuously disapproves of her son's marriage. Complications arise when she takes the position of cook and maid in the home of her mother-in-law. Farcical in its treatment, the play offers difficulties to an amateur group. Those in the play were: Dorothy Hanford, Annie Ross, Maevonne Reese, Mary Isgreen, and Jeannette Murdock. |
