Show VARSITY DEBATE This year marked the climax of the most brilliant debate season ever recorded at the University of Utah. The University of Utah debate team, composed of Ted Moss and Jay Parkinson, turned in a perfect record to win the Rocky Mountain Forensic League Championship. This contest was decided at the annual tournament held in Provo, April 21, 22, and 23. The tournament at Provo was a round robin affair and Utah debated every other member college. Thursday brought victories over University of Colorado and Colorado Agricultural College; Friday, Montana State College and the University of Wyoming met the same fate; and on Saturday Utah defeated the host school. B. Y. U. These victories gave Utah a perfect record for the entire season during which the men's debate squad, coached by La Verne Bane, won twenty contests without a setback.
