Show Cox, Forward UTAH VS. MONTANA STATE COLLEGE Stalking Bozeman, the northern frontier, without the services of Lorraine Cox, stellar forward of four years, the Redskins were at a loss to cope with the Bobcats who were playing in mid-season form, dropping both games to the Dychemen, 35-34, 32-23. The Montana series in Salt Lake came at a time when the Utes had to do or die to remain in the van of the division race. The Cats, always good showmen, were hardly a match for the rampaging Redmen in the first set-to checking in on the short end of a 43-22 count. Stan Smith, at large once more, chalked up 14 counters, followed closely by Cox with an even dozen. Buzzetti carried all the Bobcat punch, if any there was, Page Two Hundred Ten |
