Show Hamilton, Fisk INTRAMURAL HANDBALL That all faculty men have not gone to pot was brought out with nice aplomb early in the spring when the Faculty handball team made short work of the Tillicums in some of the best matches ever played on the Ute courts. In the closest frays of the final series, Dr. V. C. Fisk downed Jimmy Wilding, varsity net star, 21-11, 21-19. Dr. Hugh Hamilton ran wild in his match with Hanson, winning after three hard games, 21-7, 19-21, 21-9. Woodard was the lone Tillicum to chalk up a victory. He defeated Dr. Woodbury. The Tillicums won successive victories over the Betas, Barbs II, and Sigma Pi, while the intelligentsia advanced to the top bracket at the expense of the Chi's II, Engineers and Phi Delts. INTRAMURAL WRESTLING Manager Chuck Larson's Barbs were near the top in every sport they entered, but only in wrestling did they record a first place. Even then this supremacy was questioned because of the R. 0. T. C. default. The winners carried through to the final bracket by successive victories over Sigma Nu and Sigma Chi, while the Cadets climbed to the top rung by virtue of wins over Beta Theta Pi in the first round and Pi Kappa Alpha in the second. Dory Detton, youngest member of the famous family of wrestlers, was the Barb mainstay along with Sperry. The Army had much team strength with such veterans as Ashley Smith, Ken Tame, Karl Bromley and Ernie Larson in togs. R. Larsen, Detton, Sperry, Stevens, C. Larsen, Coach, Watson, Smith.
