Reynolds EXTENSION DIVISION The continuous and proper utilization of knowledge and the acquirement of education by those who are unable to attend regular classes are the principal aims of the Extension Division of the University of Utah. Instruction in the Extension Division is given to the student in home study courses and in formal class and lecture series methods. Both forms of service have proved very successful, and during the past year over three thousand persons were enrolled in this popular division of the university. Under the direction of Frederick W. Reynolds, who in 1911 assumed the leadership of the Extension Division, these methods of study have increased in quality and popularity. Levi Edgar Young (1899)) Professor of Western History. B.
