Show EDITOR'S NOTE The last three girls in this feature section were chosen as girls outstanding for beauty by five judges selected by the editor. The beauties were chosen from fifteen portraits of girls submitted by the editor and the finalists were determined by a point system. The fact that there are so very many girls on the campus who are beautiful makes the task of choosing the three best extremely difficult and the selection simmers down to the personal taste of the judge. We feel that the girls chosen are representative of campus pulchritude, and it is the urgent request of the staff that the other beautiful girls have highest pity on those who did the judging. Sidney Olson, former Humbug Editor, Beta Theta Pi, and at present art director of Stevens & Wallis, Advertisers, Harris Weberg, prominent local artist, Richard Bennett, president of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, David Ellison, president of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and Lawrence Simmons, president of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, were the judges of this beauty contest. The first three students appearing in this section were the choice of the students of the University of Utah for the honors they have received. Gowns worn by the girls are from Makoff's Shop. Portraits are by P. S. Ecker. Sril Uke City. Utah. We. the understood, acting ay Judges for this contest of the 133.'5 Utonian, have chosen the foregoing lnla for the feature section of the 1933 Otonlan. Our selection had been based entirely upon the beauty of the girls submitted to us as shown by the portraits themselves and has not been based on any personal observation.
