Mr. Whitehead was fortunate in obtaining a nest and eggs of this remarkable new species. The nest, a very slightly concave platform, is semitransparent, and formed of dry stems of creepers and roots, firmly interwoven. The eggs, six in number, have the ground-colour pale greenish blue, spariugly spotted and dotted with light brown. The average measurements are 1*4 X 1 inch. 6. *DENDROCITTA SINENSIS.
