The collection contains three skulls of the native domestic or semi-domestic Dog; they are fairly large, measuring some 6 inches in length, and are chiefly noticeable from the fact that in two of them the dentition is asymmetrical. I have been unable to satisfactorily identify this specimen, 'which is very young ; it is apparently referable to either L. vulgaris or L. macrodus, probably to tbe latter; but owing to the confusion that seems to exist befcw7een the species I have thought it best to leave it doubtful. 14.
