Ce paffage ne luy fert pas feulement à prouver que les Reformateurs du Calendrier fous Jules Cefar introduisirent dans leur reforme un nouveau Cycle Lunaire ; mais encore à marquer précifément le temps que ce Cycle fut inventé & introduit. Le témoignage du P.Petau qui entend aufll les paroles delà Chronique , d'un Cycle Lunaire inventé par les Romains, n'eft pas inutile à notre Auteur, & n'a pas été oublié. Cette Difîertation finit par un feptiérae chapitre qui eft le plus agréable. M.
