Lettering as in fig. 1. and the 3rd to 5th and 6th ribs have strong hooked uncinate processes ; the sternal rib of the 3rd rib (the first complete rib) is as stroDg in proportion as are the following sternal portions. There is no rudimentary rib behind the 7th (see fig. 4, p. 599). |
