Show 4274 2295 ROBERT N. ALLEN was thereupon recalled to the stand by the complainant, and having been heretofore duly sworn herein, further testified as follows: REDIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q When you were on the stand Mr. Farnsworth asked you about pictures at low water. I want to show you Exhibit 373, which is one of your photographs, and ask you to tell me what that picture represents. A We were at picture canyon at the time. The trails that our packer was supposed to make over the mountain had been blocked by a land slide, and by a long, round- about road he reached our camp and told us we would have to go back with the boat to Spencer's camp, too get the two weeks supplies -- Q Just tell me what the picture itself represents. A This represents Mr. Loper and Mr. Miser starting from Piute canyon to go back to Spencer's after the supplies. Q What are Mr. Miser and Mr. Loper doing there? A They are pulling the boat up steam, not in low water, but comparatively low water, -- not as low as we did see it. MR. BLACKMAR: That is all. MR. FARNSWORTH: That is all. THE SPECIAL MASTER: That is the trip that Mr. Blake testified to, isn't it? |
