FARNSWOTH: Q From the dates that you give you were on the San Juan and Colorado both a total of seventy- five days, that would be correct, wouldn't it, from July 18th to October 14th? A Without figuring the dates, I can say it is between those dates, but the number of days would have to be counted up. The dates are correct, however. Q How much of that time were you on the Colorado after leaving the San Juan? A By reference to my group pictures I can tell you. Have you that other list? I believe I can find out. We must have reached the mouth of the San Juan on October 3rd. Q So that would take another eleven days off. Are any of these pictures that have been received in evidence produced by you pictures on the Colorado river? A From No. 122 on should be on the Colorado. Q Please check it, so I can be sure about it. How many are there all told? A There Ought to be one hundred and forty- one, if the group is complete.
