Show 4129 2149 THE SPECIAL MASTER: Mr. Blackmar, I think counsel for the government should call attention of the United States Attorney to the following fact; last night in the Los Angeles Evening Herald there appeared what purported to be a report of testimony by a witness before me, which testimony has not as yet been taken before me. Now, the publication of a witness's testimony, pur-porting to be testimony, comes very near to being within the federal law against obstruction of justice. I think the United States Attorney should call the attention of the publisher and editor of that paper to the fact, with a warning that it should not happen again in a federal case. MR. BLACKMAR: I will be very glad to bring it to his attention, your Honor. |
