A It is within a mile of the Colorado and Utah line; my cabin stands next to the bluff, if it is standing yet. Q About what year was that? A About 1887, I guess. Q How long did you stay at the place? A We stayed there -- we were there about seven or eight months, Jess and I. Q Where did you go from there? A Went up into Book and Roan range -- they call it the Book mountains, I think. Q Did you go down into Glen canyon soon after that? A Oh, yes. Q How did you get into Glen canyon? A Went horseback -- mules all the way down, that is, burros. Q From where?
