Q After you got through there at Fort Bottom, then where did you go from there? A We came back up the river a short distance with a pack outfit, and back overland to the head of Barrier canyon. Q What did you do with the boat? A Left it there. Q While you were in that section of the canyon did you meet any other people or see any other people or boats? A No, I did not. Q How far from the river is this town from which you came in? A About one hundred and fifty miles. Q And what is the general character of the country through there? |
