Show 1899.] FROM BRITISH EAST AFRICA. 969 But in many respects the two small species and the two large species are more nearly related to each other respectively in other characters-the bluer shot and the internal position of the blue colouring, as well as the more conspicuous anal orange spot of the secondaries, being characteristic of the larger species, the greener shot and the basal position of the greenish colouring, as well as the less conspicuous anal orange-tinted spot of the secondaries, of the smaller species. 33.
